This is the first time I've read this so that explains why this reply is coming at such a late hour. I agree with Dan and some of the others about tiers for SL's. I think it's a great idea and I believe it would boost interest in these tournaments. 

My only gripe about the WHOLE thing is the fact that not everyone is made aware of these tournaments. If you happen to hear about one you are lucky to be within earshot of the conversation in my experience. Tony used to do a great job of announcing these events during league nights and I applaud him for that. That being said, the other thing that needs to be done on top of the great suggestions put forth already, is for the league rep to ANNOUNCE to everyone where and when these tournaments are taking place. Please consider this for the upcoming qualifying season.

We will be using a reduced race format for this event in order to make the tournament move more quickly. Entrance Fee is $15 with at least $5 added for every participating player.

8 Ball Top Gun will start Friday night with check in by 7:00 PM at Breaktime.

9 Ball Top Gun will start Saturday morning with check in by 10:00 AM
